Desktop Engineer
Miejsce pracy: KrakówFor one of our Clients we are looking for Desktop Engineer who will be responsible for:
- Designing, developing, and testing solutions (end user applications, systems software, mobile/web applications, database products, infrastructure, security, etc.).
- Conducting requirements analysis and high-level design/modeling to convert customer needs into IT solutions
- Designing and specifying the overall software or infrastructure structure, core elements, and properties by analyzing the business requirements, constraints, interfaces, and dependencies
- Using programming and/or scripting, to write the software code or to automate infrastructure activities.
- Planning and conducting solution testing (including using programming languages to write code for use in testing the application/software code), performing analysis of test results, and tracking/reporting risk levels during test execution
- Perform lifecycle maintenance and upgrades of infrastructure components.
- Provide level 2/3 level operational support within given discipline.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in IT, related technical discipline, or equivalent.
- Minimum 5 years of IT work experience.
- Provides subject matter expertise support and resolution of customer incidents and service requests related to group policy, standard image, SCCM, and standard Microsoft office applications.
- Determines the production capacity needed to meet changing business demands. Ensures capacity planning deliverables are performed to specifications.
- On-call support for system outages and issues.
- Ensures service level agreements (SLAs) are met and continue to meet the needs of customers.
- Provides level 3 engineering support and consults with internal customers on issues and projects requiring desktop engineering input.
- Researches and identifies opportunities that impact business strategy and resource planning.
- Conducts extensive evaluations of vendor solutions and prepares summaries for management.
- Requires use of advanced techniques, procedures and criteria used for carrying out a sequence of discipline tasks.
