Your new roleAs the Department Manager - Infrastructure, you will lead and man-age a team responsible for the company39s IT infrastructure. Your main tasks will include team management, task prioritization, people management, and ensuring compliance with industry regulations.
  • Lead and man-age the infrastructure department team.
  • Plan, prioritize, and coordinate daily tasks and project-related activities.
  • Provide people management including development dialogues, performance management, and handling HR-related topics in collaboration with HR.
  • Act as the first-line escalation point for team-related issues.
  • Ensure clarity of roles and responsibilities within the team and pro-mote a collaborative working environment.
  • Support professional development and training plans for team members.
  • Monitor team performance, KPIs, and service delivery standard.
  • Coordinate with other infrastructure and cross-functional teams to ensure alignment of shared goals and dependencies.
  • Participate in operational and strategic planning processes for the infrastructure area.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of processes, tools, and ways of working.

What you39ll need to succeed
  • Proven leadership skills, with the ability to lead, coach, and motivate technical teams.
  • Strong understanding of IT infrastructure domains (e.g., networks, compute, storage, cloud, or data centers).
  • Experience with task planning, workload balancing, and resource allocation in a dynamic environment.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Familiarity with IT service management frameworks (e.g., ITIL) and agile or project-based delivery models.
  • Ability to work in a regulated environment, ideally with knowledge of compliance standards relevant to the pharmaceutical industry (e.g., GxP, GDPR).
  • Educational Background like relevant bachelor’s degree or equivalent working experience and relevant certifications, e.g., Cloud, Azure, Network, TOGAF, ITIL.
