We are working as a recruitment provider searching on our Client's behalf for a person in the following role:
Data IT Business Analyst
Location: Cracow
A successful candidate will be part of global projects in Commercial Banking (CMB) IT. IT Business Analyst will be responsible for analyzing and refining business and organizational needs and translating these into IT requirements. You will be expected to work throughout the project lifecycle where you will have an opportunity to influence the way the solution is implemented and independently lead some activities.
Person in this role will be working across CMB organization with Chief Data Officers, IT Architects, data analysts and subject matter experts to not only maintain and but also to improve the existing projects. This role is expected to be exposed to senior management attention while collecting requirements and presenting ideas and solutions.
Main Duties:
Translating business and organizational needs into IT requirements;
Understanding expectations of senior managers and project priorities and execution to meet those needs;
Proxy Product Owner working closely with the assigned POD team;
Mapping business requirements, Use Cases and User Stories into comprehensive work items
Assessing the usability and potential of new requests and provide proposals and solutions to the business that meet their requirements;
Forming relationships with stakeholders both from business and IT;
Leading independently activities related to data management and mitigating risk exposure;
Requirements:
Innovative approach to solving problems with an excellent level of attention to detail;
Ability to communicate clearly with various stakeholders across all levels, i.e. product owners, developers, architects and senior management;
Ability to work in a fast pace changeable project environment;
Understanding of the development and testing principles, processes and methodologies (Agile);
A self starter who looks to take ownership for the assignment
A team player who is comfortable in operating in a global cross-functional teams

Willingness to learn
2+ years of experience in a role of IT BA
Nice to have:
Experience in Agile type methodologies;
JIRA/RTC/Confluence knowledge would be an asset;
Prior working experience in a bank or a financial institution;
Working experience in collaboration with IT architects
Experience with BRD, RC, TOR documentation
