For our Client, an international leader from oil industry with more than 400 retail sites in Poland, due to the dynamic development of Category management Department we are looking for Convenience Retail Category Manager.
This is a new role with responsibility for development & implementation of new opportunities to maximise the profitability of convenience retail categories in the stores via CR related projects management across Poland.
Duties:
On the daily basis, you would do the continuous and systematic execution of the category plans, making decisions about assortment, merchandising, pricing and promotions. Furthermore, you would be responsible for development and management of promotions and marketing activities, including the supervision of communication materials production, post investment reviews.
As a part of your duties would be negotiations with suppliers about commercial conditions, management of supplier relationships and contracts, both with local and global/regional suppliers. On the other side, Convenience Retail Category Manager will support retail development projects in Poland or in the Central and Eastern Europe (CEE) region on ad-hoc basis.
What do you need to success?
We are looking for a candidate with 3-5 years in Category Management in retail and project management experience.The Desire Candidate for the position is well networked within the Sales & Operations teams as well as possesses well-developed negotiation and analytical skills. On the other side, we are looking for people with self-motivated personality and strong internal drive to deliver results. Ideal candidate has a university degree, excellent command of English and is available for business trips (3 days a week). Possibility to have 'home office' might be additional advantage in this case.
