For our client we are looking for a Cloud FinOps Engineer with experience in Microsoft Azure solutions and IT infrastructure in general. PANDORA is on a journey towards outsourcing of IT Operations and transforming our on-premise infrastructure into Azure. We require FinOps specialists within the infrastructure platform team, to help drive and guide current and future cost optimizations, standardizations, and implementations.

For our client we are looking for a Cloud FinOps Engineer with experience in Microsoft Azure solutions and IT infrastructure in general. We require FinOps specialists within the infrastructure platform team, to help drive and guide current and future cost optimizations, standardizations, and implementations.
Main responsibilities:
- Be a leader within your area and a trusted advisor
- Work with IT Service Owners, Project Managers, Contract Management to develop, implement, and monitor Azure Budgets
- Monitor and maintain Iaas and PaaS Reservations
- Provide right-sizing recommendations to system owners and influence decision makers to consider those recommendations
- Monitor and enforce Resource and Resource Group tagging
- Approve change requests for modifications to cloud resources that impact cost
- Develop reports and dashboards through PowerBI and/or Azure Cost Analysis
- Advise on improvements to IaaS and PaaS solutions to improve cost while balancing performance and stability
Professional qualifications:
- Most likely you have a formal education, Bachelor/Master’s degree – preferably within an IT-related discipline.
- You have about 6-7 years of professional experience demonstrating your expertise and of course you are passionate about the evolution of technology.
- You’ve played a key role in cloud transformation projects, standardizing and optimizing a modern hybrid infrastructure environment.
- Most likely you hold several certifications related to one or more infrastructure areas: Azure fundamentals, data center, servers, converged infrastructure, storage, network, end user computing, collaboration platforms and maybe even security.
- ITIL is not new to you – actually you have extensive experience operating within ITIL processes and related procedures. You are probably ITIL Foundation certified.
- Ideally, you have experience from manufacturing and/or retail.
- You are fluent in English both in writing and verbally.
