Key responsibilities:
• leading the selling approach of our Product Category: home textiles and rugs,
• defining the sales strategy to maximize growth and profitability in all channels,
• identifying opportunities for complementary selling, cross-selling and up-selling of IKEA products and services,
• building strong relations with people, communicating in an inspirational way and cooperate with other functions (digital department, logistics department, store sales),
• analysing data, prioritising and making decisions with speed and simplicity,
• broad knowledge about the local market environment, expectations from customers demands and needs,
• interest in Retail, Home Furnishing and E-commerce.
You will:
• Define long term growth strategy of the business through the development of the commercial offer, sales techniques and activities through multichannels,
• Steer the range, dimensioning and price ladder for the Product Category,
• Be responsible for the Sales planning and forecasting for the defined Product Categories,
• Coach sales team members in stores to develop competence on selling and make Product Category plan a reality in stores,
• Cooperate within Commercial function (e.g. logistics, marketing, home furnishing department),
• Contribute to the integrated multichannel executions of the Product Category unit working closely with Digital department.
This role is located in Service Office, IKEA Janki k/Warszawy.
