On behalf of our client, one of the biggest design and consulting company in the world, we are looking for the Billing Specialist with knowledge of Polish and English. The person will join a newly created Shared Service Centre based in the heart of Bucharest.
On this position you will be responsible for:
We are looking for candidates with first experience in finance or accountancy gained in an international environment. Fluent Polish and English is required as well as good knowledge of MS Office. In addition, the ideal candidate should present well- developed analytical and communication skills.

On behalf of our client, one of the biggest design and consulting company in the world, we are looking for the Billing Specialist with knowledge of Polish and English. The person will join a newly created Shared Service Centre based in the heart of Bucharest.
On this position you will be responsible for:
- Develop excellent relationships with project managers and project accountants.
- Become an expert regarding billing knowledge on all the projects you support.
- Review and monitor unbilled balances to ensure timely billing of transactions.
- Be able to explain work in progress (WIP) unbilled balances.
- Interact with internal and intra-office departments to resolve project specific discrepancies.
- Load final invoices onto client portal, if necessary.
- Update/maintain rate tables to reflect annual salary increases.
- Raise invoices that are complete, accurate, timely and authorised by project managers.
- Ensure draft invoices are converted to final invoices within two days.
- Process credit notes and voids.
- Monitor expenditure enquiry reports and correct revenue recognition problems.
- Ensure compliance with Sarbanes Oxley controls.
- Develop knowledge of different VAT rates and their application locally.
- Be able to review and detect issues in systems.
