Azure Cloud Engineer
Lokalizacja: WarszawaFor one of our clients, an international organisation for cultural relations and educational opportunities, we are looking for Azure Cloud Engineer.
Location: Warsaw
Main responsibilities:
- Design of the migration process for the selected service/application
- Design of applications and services in Microsoft Azure
- Design how Cloud Operations and Maintenance process will fit into existing Operations and Maintenance processes
- Migration (lift & shift and refactor/rebuild) of defined Applications and Infrastructure services to Microsoft Azure
- Infrastructure Services – contractor is fully responsible for design and migration of workloads to the Cloud
- Business Application (Exams and Non-Exams)
- Contractor is responsible for ensuring that team follows agreed Migration Process and delivers all required documentation, procedures
- Design and implementation of migration roll back procedures for each and every application and service in scope
- Migration and decommissioning of workloads in OnPrem along with data clean up in OnPrem. Data clean up inside applications or services is out of scope
- Post-migration technical documentation
- Design and implementation of Operations and Maintenance process for Azure and factor it in existing Operations and Maintenance processes in house
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in similar position
- Knowledge of the Azure service both in the form of IaaS and PaaS from the user side
- Experience in carrying out lift & shift and transform & shift migrations
- Knowledge of Windows Server systems at least at the administrator level will be important, especially knowledge of services:
- File Servers/DFS
- Domain Controller/Azure AD DS
- Windows PKI Architecture
- Knowledge of design/recommendation of architecture for complex systems built in the cloud
