Applications Engineer (m/f)

Your tasks:

• review and verify project documents for completeness, format, and compliance with contract requirements,
• submit project documentation to management for approval and transmit approved documents to the customer,
• thermal design of products based on customer specifications,
• create and revise drawings in an accurate and complete manner conforming to drafting standards,
• create engineering drawings for internal engineering and/or for manufacture by metalworkers,
• pull prints, works from marked up prints, sketches, and verbal instructions to produce working drawings,
• perform engineering file updates and maintenance,
• refine ideas and concepts originated by others and develop improvements,
• make improvements to existing products to meet the needs of a changing market or to make the product easier to manufacture at a lower cost as well as optimize design content to meet performance, cost and time to market requirements,
• participate in the development process from design concept through tooling and initial production,
• provide engineering support to R&D and Manufacturing,
• utilize AutoCAD, Autodesk Inventor or other similar 3D package,
• proficiency in use of Microsoft business software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint),
• perform other related duties as assigned.

Our requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or 3 years’ relevant experience,
• minimum of 3 years’ experience in the field of fluid flow and heat transfer,
• proficiency in solid modeling programs (Inventor, ProE, AutoCAD, Autodesk etc.),
• excellent communication skills, impeccable proofing and checking skills, ability to work independently or with a team – communication with other engineers, managers, customers, and others to discuss the project, prepare documents is standard,
• excellent written and oral communication skills.
