Operations, Services and Technology is a pivotal part of the Group, providing essential operational and technical support to our global businesses and helping improve customer service and efficiency. Operations, Services and Technology combines global expertise and technology to help keep us ahead of the competition. IT Operations manages the IT infrastructure and supporting services that are critical for our employees and customers, such as cost-efficient hardware, system software, middleware and databases, Data Centers, Voice and Data networks, Cloud & External Infrastructure services, ATMs, Desktops and other devices. Within IT Infrastructure, Telecommunications provide services covering networks, security, voice, video, contact centre, trade floor and media recording. We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Workforce Planning Manager.

Key Accountabilities:

Managing and supporting workforce planning processes within Telecommunication Services for approximately 500 individuals across 65 countries
Ownership of the annual headcount planning, and ongoing monitoring to ensure targets are met
Leading workforce governance and approval processes
Ensuring workforce contributes to effective financial performance
Supporting recruitment, on-boarding and off-boarding of permanent and temporary resources
Liaising with Telecommunications, HR and COO teams to ensure workforce requirements are met within budgetary and policy constraints
Meeting reporting requirements (e.g. daily, weekly, monthly)
Generation of management information to support decision making
Support and provide insight for delivery of strategic plans, transformational activity and operating model changes

Requirements:

5 years plus management experience, ideally within Financial Services technology functions
Degree level education or equivalent
English language required
Detailed understanding and experience of workforce management
Strong stakeholder management and communication capabilities
Experience working with annual operating plans
Sound knowledge and understanding of the telecommunications landscape and industry preferred
Experience of working in a global team
Proven ability to articulate complex issues concisely
Flexible and adaptable to changing activities, schedules and work loads
