For our client, international banking company located in Krakow, in order to meet the growing market demand for speed to market and to stay competitive in an challenging marketplace, we are looking for an experienced Technical Specialist to join a new formed team of Windows Desktop as an Architect.
Your new role
The Windows Desktop Architect role will work within the newly formed team to achieve the strategic aims of organisation and End User as a Service platform by delivering products and services in an agile manner.
You will take directions from your leader and work closely with your teammates. You will be responsible for development of Windows Desktop Infrastructure related products and its 3rd/4th level support. You must demonstrate ability to build image, configure, customise and deploy new desktops. Also you will need to install, configure and test approved mission critical software on installed Windows and troubleshot any errors and issues.
What you'll need to succeed
You need to have flexibility and adaptability as this job will have constantly changing priorities and tasks that are complex and time sensitive. Strong critical thinking and problem solving skills with clear communication are very welcomed.
Deep knowledge of Windows desktop and linked technologies such as Windows 10, Windows 7, GPOs, native Microsoft Windows features, PC hardware, desktop build is a must.
Experience of areas such as Microsoft office, browsers, Java, Windows Application Development, Virtual Desktops, Windows Security Models and tooling, identity and access management tooling are essential.
