We are working as a recruitment provider searching on our Client's behalf for a person in the following role:

Valuation Reporting Analyst
Location: Kraków


Part of the Krakow Valuation reporting team undertaking activities for the Global Valuation Reporting Team. The Valuation reporting team is responsible for reporting high quality cross asset class consolidated information for Product Control supported businesses and all related processes,
to facilitate decision making and evidence control processes. The process has two primary elements, a production element, and a review/investigation element.

Key Accountabilities:
-Understanding the daily P&L reports and using market knowledge and experience to challenge explanations or anomalies,
-Ensure up to date knowledge of finance and risk policies and to be aware of financial market developments regionally and globally in order to understand how they impact on the valuation of global markets products,
-Managing relationships with multiple senior stakeholders,
-The job holder will need to be analytical and be able to investigate and follow through on issues as they arise,
Run the daily funding analysis and weekly commentary process,
-Consolidation and reporting of global KRIs, including liaising with regional controllers to explain threshold breaches,
-Support the production of the monthly Valuation reports, including running the OCS reconciliation and production of the global OCS report,
-Respond to onshore queries and support ad-hoc reporting requests and projects onshore,
-Assist with reengineering and streamlining processes to reduce manual effort and improve reporting timeliness and quality.

Requirements:
-University graduate from a reputed institution in financial or economic subject or university graduate in Mathematics, Physics, Engineering, Accounting or similar,
-Prior experience in working within Financial Markets or a Treasury department,
-Excellent written English and oral communication skills,
-Good understanding of Financial Markets (products traded and their life cycle, accounting principles and valuation techniques),
-Ambitious, driven and enthusiastic,
-Valuation/Product Control experience is strongly preferred,
-Advanced MS Excel, MS Access and VBA is an advantage.
-Excellent analytical skills and a proactive approach to problem solving,
-Flexible interpersonal style capable of adapting to a range of customers and personality types across the organisation.
