ALTEN innovates aero and cosmonautics, trains, electric and autonomous vehicles, and even space rockets. We are currently looking for Test Automation Consultant who will join our team.
Main tasks
- Define, implement and maintain MCIT Selenium WebDrive based test automation framework
- Introduce/Suggest necessary changes to the current automation framework to make it more manageable and scalable
- Creating and managing test automation projects using the Selenium WebDriver framework put in place in MCIT
- Propose and implement appropriate testing tools for front-end quality assurance
- Identify automation candidates at different projects and develop test cases forbparticular products
- Share the knowledge and guide rest of the manual testers to up-skill them in to automation testing
Requirements
- Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal
- At least 6 to 10 years of experience in testing (mainly website testing for various browsers and devices)
- At least 4 to 6 years of experience in automation testing, specifically using Selenium WebDriver
- Strong coding skills in Java, expertise in management tools like Maven and TestNg framework
- Experience in CI/CD pipeline integration along with the experience in tools such as Jenkins, GitHub and Selenium Grid
- Experience using tools like Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps (VSTS), GitHub, Gatling
- Experience of working with business stakeholders at all levels
- Ability to work independently, produce high standards of work
- Knowledge of Scrum / Agile methodology is expected
- Proficiency in HTML and CSS would be an advantage
- Experience in Performance and/or Security testing would be a plus
