Responsibilities:

•Support short term transition of finance operations from outsourcing provider.

•Work with the Head of Finance Operations to streamline finance operations and improve the quality of control and oversight.

Operational responsibilities include:

Daily:

•Oversee team of three AR/AP/GL Accounts Assistants

•Ensure accurate and timely processing and reconciliation

•Review important documentation and analyses before submission, including revenue recognition and batch payment runs

•Monitoring collections and credit control

•Support Finance team as required, acting as a first point of contact and escalation

Weekly:

Support forecasting for weekly cash-flow management

Monthly:

•Reconciliation of ledgers and bank accounts to ensure accurate posting of data

•Reconciliation of balance sheet to trial balance and preparation of relevant backup

•Support completion of tax returns

•Preparation and filing of statutory reporting

•Preparation of reporting to partners and third party software vendors

Ongoing:

•Ensure a robust control environment is maintained globally.

Ad hoc:

•Preparation for and support during financial audits

•Support analysis for budgeting and reporting

Requirements:

Having completed a recognized accountancy qualification, candidates will be expected to show a success through hands-on experience in a similar role, ideally in a similar enterprise applications or supply chain business. Experience of AR/AP/GL and people management are essential. Familiarity with software contracts, cross-border accounts management and implementing process change are an advantage.
