Tax Specialist
The Tax specialist will work in the Finance Shared Service Center. The person in this position will be responsible for performing a range of tasks related to preparation of tax provisions and performing tax accounting duties.

Description
● Manage the indirect Tax audits
● Instigate VAT payments and follow up VAT refunds
● Streamline the VAT compliance processes in order to make sure various ERP systems can handle VAT compliance work
● In consultation with CI ensure further standardization, automation and continuous improvement of VAT compliance
● Support VAT audits and communicate with local tax authorities
● Resolve queries that involve tax or VAT
● Monitor and report the indirect tax law changes
Profile
● Education in a tax related field (bachelor or master)
● 3+ years of experience in a VAT compliance practice as VAT consultant or in house advisor. At best, practical experience in a similar role;
● Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English (C1 level), Dutch and/or German is an advantage
● Strong analytical ability and a proven track record of looking beyond the numbers to deliver insightful analysis and reporting
● Ability to work consistently well under pressure, to prioritise and work to tight deadlines ensuring competing demands are met
● Able to build and maintain relationships with stakeholders at all levels
