Tax Manager

Our Client, a global company with a GBS based in Warsaw, is now looking for experienced Tax professionals to join their team in the role of a Tax Manager. The position will focus on Tax Compliance (VAT). Managerial experience is required.

Opis stanowiska

• Lead and support a team of tax professionals
• Ensure process quality and cultivate a continuous improvement culture
• Drive improvement initiatives within the team
• Manage VAT compliance processes, ensuring regulatory deadlines are met
• Collaborate with Finance teams and the Group Tax team
• Oversee income tax returns process and collaborate with Tax Advisors
• Support calculation of income tax balances
• Manage withholding tax and transfer pricing compliance with Advisor support
• Supervise tax payment processes and ensure timely tax account reconciliations
• Identify opportunities for standardization and implement improvement solutions
• Liaise with external auditors
• Conduct internal control processes, including ad-hoc controls and audits for reporting purposes
• Ensure comprehensive tax reporting

Profil kandydata

• Proven experience in the relevant tax area (tax compliance), including leadership experience is required; experience in a GBS/SSC will be an advantage
• Possession of a professional tax qualification is advantageous.
• Essential proficiency in VAT; additional experience in broader tax aspects such as income tax is a positive.
• Strong leadership skills are a must.
• Exceptional communication skills, teamwork proficiency, and the ability to forge robust relationships with stakeholders.
• Fluency in English (C1) and communicative proficiency in Polish.
• Experience with process improvement or automation is considered an asset.
