Supply Planner
This is a global position in new structures in Poland. The person on this position must ensure that supply plans meet demand plans with the minimum inventory required. Also, this person will communicate with other departments, as well as production plants and warehouses.

Our client is a global manufacturer of diversified chemical products. The company is currently establishing a new Business Centre in Kraków, where it is locating new competences.
Description
- Own the global supply plan for the market's portfolio.
- Align manufacturing and warehousing by creating a supply network plan that provides clarity across supply-related functions.
- Ensure inventory is distributed efficiently along the global network, in agreement with the regional demand planner.
- Highlight whenever supply cannot meet the demand to the demand planner, and provide alternatives.
- Deal with different sources of supply (manufacturing sites, procurement) and ensure the supply plan is accurate and regularly updated to show proper volumes to be supplied on a long-term horizon.
- Ensure inventory is used in the most profitable way for the company.
- Highlight whenever inventory can be used in a more profitable way than the agreed demand plan.
- Regularly check slow-moving items and propose mitigation action plans.
- Ultimately give an inventory projection for the next 24m horizon of your market's portfolio across the global network.
Profile
- Master's degree or equivalent either in Supply Chain, Business, or Engineering.
- Language skills: Fluent in English.
- Min. 3 years of professional experience in the field of supply and/or production planning (optimally in chemicals).
- Commercial exposure, proven track record in supply planning/production planning.
- SAP / ERP software process knowledge is an advantage.
- Knowledge and experience in S&OP or IBP processes beneficial.
- Knowledge of French and German is a plus.
- Understanding of demand planning.
- Strong knowledge of inventory management.
- Excellent and proactive communicator, connecting demand with supply side.
- High analytical and conceptual skills.
