SSC Finance Director

We are looking for a person to take the position of Senior Finance Manager. He or she will be responsible for creating, developing, executing, and managing Finance strategy, planning, and reporting to the Director of Global Services.

Description

• Lead the organization's financial function and performance through planning, development, organization, and continuous improvement.
• Be responsible for driving GBS strategy and internal policy.
• Responsible for the development of the short to mid-term corporation's financial strategic plans and programs.
• Direct the advancement of standardized financial reports and benchmarks.
• Provide strategic financial input and leadership on decision-making issues affecting the organization.
• Lead the improvement of budgeting and reporting processes through the education of department managers on financial issues impacting their budgets.
• Oversee the handling of banking relationships with close cooperation with the global Treasury team.
• Provide a financial perspective on contracts into which the corporation may enter.
• Preparation of all budgets and forecasts for the company which include Long Range Plan, Annual Operating Plan, and Quarterly Forecast Updates; transition budgets preparation and providing cost data for the process transition purpose.
• Develop KPIs and monitor progress against a reporting Dashboard.
• General accounting including general ledger maintenance and closing, fixed asset maintenance, payroll bookings, and intercompany for USGAAP ledger (full ownership for GBS USGAAP ledger).
• Overseeing Financial Analyst work regarding financial and business analysis for GBS location and process automation support.
• Preparing and maintaining the Corporate Model of Cost Allocation and charges for the markets.
• Overseeing the GBS payments (vendor invoices and tax obligations).
• Executing internal control activities and SOX Control.
• Cooperation with lawyers and the Management Board regarding legal requirements for the GBS legal entity.

Profile

• Master's degree - Accounting/Business/Mathematics/Statistics/Finance preferred.
• Experience working in SSC/GBS environment preferred.
• Good knowledge of English language (minimum C1 level)
• ACCA or another accounting certificate required.
• Working experience in GA and Controlling area.
• Mid to senior level finance and accounting position: 8 years (Preferred)
• Direct people-management experience
• Knowledge of finance, accounting, budgeting and cost control principles, including Tax, SOX Control, Generally Accepted Accounting Principles and International Financial Reporting Standards.
• Strong knowledge of USGAAP and Polish GAAP.
