For our Client – one of the world's largest packaging company located in Kraków - we are currently looking for a person interested in the role of SQL Database Administrator.
Your new role
We are looking for an experienced SQL Database Administrator to be responsible for support and maintenance of all SQL Server database across the Enterprise. You will support application teams, monitor database performance for slow SQL queries and optimize performance through query tuning. Additionally, you will maintain security controls, audit compliance and integrity controls. As a SQL Database Administrator you will install and apply SQL Server software patches and upgrades and deploy new versions of application software. You will collaborate with other DBAs to maintain and troubleshoot backup.
What you'll need to succeed
In order to be a successful Candidate on this position you need to have at least 3 years SQL Server database administration experience. Knowledge of Windows Server 2008/2012 administration would be your additional plus. You need to be experienced working in environment with 400+ of instances and 3500+ of Databases across multiple locations and Datacenter. Solid verbal and written communications skills in English are highly desirable.
