We are working as a recruitment provider searching on our Client's behalf for a person in the following role:


Solutions Architect

Location: Kraków



Key Accountabilities:

Define and communicate commercially aware architecture designs for data solutions in accordance to design authority governance

Provide governance on architecture. Design, implement standards and target operating models for IT activities

Consulting for Big Data and Cloud technologies

Advisory on Big Data approach

Designing and developing new platforms architecture, integration with legacy systems, enhancing existing architecture

Technology explorations, research and development, deep investigations and troubleshooting

Provide consultancy for ongoing projects, collecting business requirements, consulting

Architecting new and existing Big Data Platform

Leading design and development activities for selected projects and project streams



University graduate of Computer Science/IT- related field

Ability to connect Blocks/Components

Knowledge of public cloud platforms - Google, AWS, Azure

Microservices architecture for big data and analytics

Understanding of network, hardware and infrastructure topics

Good technical background in Hadoop ecosystem

­ Administration, Integration and Development

­ Languages: Scala, Python

­ Tools: Spark, Hive, HBase, Hadoop, Kafka, Flume, Storm, NiFi

Understanding of platform security topics including LDAP/AD integration and Kerberization

Good technical background related to Data warehousing in one or more such technologies: Oracle, Teradata, DB2,

Experience with BI Tools (Tableau, QlikView, QlikSense)

Knowledge of usage Design Tools (EA, Archimate, UML, IDA)

Knowledge of SDLC/Agile methods

Five years of experience in Designing Solutions


Nice to have:

Knowledge of the Data Modeling

Knowledge of the MDM, InfoSphere, MQ, ETL, API Management, Web Services

Knowledge of the Operating Systems and Resource/Memory Management

DBA or SQL developer background

Experience of working with the MuleSoft

A good understanding of Enterprise Architecture methodologies such as TOGAF or others
