Software Engineer (C# & C/C++)

We are part of the international ALTEN Group, which brings together over 28,000 outstanding IT and Engineering specialists around the world. We currently are looking for an Software Engineer who will join our team to deliver the most innovative technology projects.

 

Main tasks

 

• Develop technical solutions from high level market requirements
• Development of desktop and web applications, frameworks and various tools Develop test fixtures
• Documentation and cross functional training

Requirements

 

• Previous experience of working in an electronics company. Experience with RF CAD tools
• Experience of PCB design tools e.g. Altium / Orcad
• Experience using simulation packages (e.g. PSpice, CST Studio)
• Mixed mode design
• RFID experience a positive but not essential
• Understanding & of the development, manufacturing & test processes for complex multi-layer PCB assemblies
• Previous knowledge and use of common electronic test equipment, such as oscilloscopes, multimeters, spectrum analysers, network analysers. Programming languages (Python / Visual basic / C++) a plus
• Demonstrated ability to identify problems & to provide solutions with minimal direction
• Communicative English – verbal and writte

 

Optional skills:

 

• Applied experience with Python a plus
• Applied experience with Java a plus
• Familiarity with Graphical User Interfaces and User Experience Design a plus
• Experience with Secure Elements, RFID, NFC, HCE or Bluetooth technologies is a plus
• Familiarity with MVVM frameworks is a plus
