Description
- Reviewing, analyzing and identifying Vendor Master Data Management process improvement opportunities
- Actively cooperating with PTP Global Process Owner on Vendor Master Data process improvement
- Stabilizing VMD processes after knowledger transfer from abroad
- Ensuring accuracy of local requirements, tax documentation and validation of banking information
- Identifying and leading vendor data cleansing activities
- Meeting and exceeding Service Level Agreements regarding timeliness of processing Vendor Master Data requests
- Supporting internal and external audit activities
- Performing SOX controls
- Reviewing incoming requests for completeness, accuracy and quality
- Participating in Vendor Master Data knowledge transfer from foreign entities (remotely)
- Actively working with core team members, internal customers/business partners, and distribution team members to build effective working relationships
Profile
- Knowledge and understanding of Vendor Master Data process
- minimum 3 years of experience in a similar role preferably in a Shared Services Center/BPO
- Vendor Master end to end experience
- Knowledge of SAP / Ariba will be an asset
- Ability to take ownership, think independently and perform tasks with minimal supervision
- Ability to be work independently and in the team
- Ability to proactively & effectively resolve process and technology problems
- Ability to effectively prioritize and complete key tasks
- Ability to respond flexibly to customer needs, effectively managing expectations
- Ability to identify, explain, and resolve complex data issues
- Ability to work in global team environment and communicate effectively with both internal business partners of all levels & disciplines as well as external team members
