Client Details

- This is a great opportunity to work within a tight knit and supportive in-house tax team where you will be able to develop individually whilst contributing to the growth of your team.
- Reporting to the Regional Tax Director based in London, this newly created role will support operations in Europe, Middle East, and Africa.
- A varied role with the opportunity for international and project work
Description
- Provide research support on the tax implications of local and cross-border projects and initiatives.
- Assist with the year-end tax reporting for the EMEA region - liaising with the country finance teams to ensure accurate tax calculations and reconciliations
- Support the preparation of local transfer documentation in conjunction with external tax advisor.
- Assist where necessary with the management of external tax audits and other revenue authority queries
- Promote tax policies across the group / EMEA region.
- Support the wider finance team on any tax related matters
- Support tax director on ad-hoc tax projects that will arise
- There is scope to be involved in transfer pricing and VAT work
Profile
- You will be an experienced tax professional either looking to move from professional services or from an established in house tax role already.
- Critical to this role is a willingness to use initiative and be pro-active.
- Good standard of written and spoken English
Strong academic credentials - Good organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent social and communication skills
- Previous experience of SAP a bonus
