Senior SW Developer
Location: WarsawLuxoft's customer is a premium brand of the VAG-group commercial vehicles and our customer is looking at Luxoft as a partner with our strong in-vehicle infotainment (IVI) and HW/SW separation experience. Project goal is to implement a converged Digital Cockpit system for professional drivers. This project requires activities in developing and testing the IVI and instrument cluster (IC) HMI as well as the Android-based service layer with its core functionality such as Tuner, Audio Management, Telephony, Multimedia, Speech Dialog System or Projection technologies. Additionally we will extend the engagement with supporting our customer in a joint project setup in the overall system integration leveraging our proven software house approach.
You will have the possibility to gain experience in developing or integrating IVI core functionalities running on latest software technologies like Android Automotive OS.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Participate in requirement analysis.
- Design, create, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable C++/Java code from scratch.
- Implement performance and quality services.
- Identify bottlenecks and bugs, and implement solutions to these problems.
- Maintain code quality.
SKILLS
MUST
Experience with Java or C++:
- Or Java development 4+y
Android middleware (services) development experience 1+y
- Or C++ development experience 4+y
Embedded or Automotive software development experience 3+y
Ready to up skill and switch to Android development
Good knowledge of OOP.
Good knowledge of SW Design Patterns.
Experience in unit testing.
Has experience with UML. Able to use component, class, sequence and flow diagrams.
Multithreading, inter process communication.
Experience in working with requirements: gathering and analysis.
Knowledge of Linux OS.
Knowledge of tools: Jira, Confluence, Git, Stash
Team player will-do attitude.
Good communication skills.
Results oriented.
Self-education on regular basis.
Has experience of mentoring of less experienced team members.
NICE TO HAVE
Embedded software development experience
Working experience with AOSP is a plus.
Kotlin knowledge is a plus.
Experience in Automotive SW development is preferable.
Experience of working in development teams (3+ persons) is a plus.
