Our Client is international automotive company. Currently we are looking for experienced Candidates for Senior Supplier Development Engineer Position (which is European-level position reporting to HQ). Location: Silesia.
The person will be responsible for build relationship to suppliers with objective to ensure development of products, processes and proactive improvement in cost, delivery, productivity and quality within the suppliers and its sub-suppliers organizations. The person will also drive continuous improvements activities for supplied components to meet performance targets.
The main tasks on the position are: defining needs, developing training programs and conducting trainings with the suppliers as well as supporting, controlling and verifying suppliers APQP activities and also supporting purchasing commodity & product line management for new and existing suppliers.
From the Candidates we expect technical degree level (preferred: University of Technology) and at least 3 years industrial experience in the automotive industry preferably in quality, manufacturing, engineering/technical environment with an emphasis on supplier interaction. Knowledge and interpretation of the quality standards AIAG, VDA and ISO/TS 16949 and knowledge of quality techniques (Statistic, APQP, PPAP, Problem Solving, etc.) is also important. The fluent command of English is the must to communicate effectively within the international environment.
