For our client, global financial institution, we are looking for a Senior Software Engineer.
Your new role
As a Senior Software Engineer You will be:
Responsible for developing the most appropriate complex Technology solutions using iterative software development/programming inline with the solution design, to meet customer needs, ensuring continuous improvement.
- Analyze and propose solutions based on business requirements
- Produce accurate, clear, commented and efficient program code from a wide range of program specifications
- Amend and produce External and Internal specifications and standard documentation as required at each stage of project lifecycle, including database / application design
- Investigate live system faults, diagnose problems, propose and provide solutions
- Complete projects in a timely manner
- Provide technical assistance to other members of the team, whether or not in a formal leadership position.
What you'll need to succeed
Skills
- Knowledge on API-led connectivity
- Knowledge on micro service architecture
- Knowledge on cloud development
- Experience on Oracle
- Very good analytical skills
- Very good command of English
- Ability to work with team members in different time zones
- A high level of motivation, quick to learn
Tools / Technologies / Methodologies:
- Language & Framework - Java, Spring, Oracle
- CI/CD tools - Maven, GitHub, Jenkins, Sonar, Nexus, Checkmarx
- Test automation - JUnit, REST-assured, JMeter
- Cloud - AWS, GCP
- Agile Tooling - Jira, Confluence
- Lean and Agile methods of software delivery (Scrum, Kanban, Lean UX, XP, BDD, ATDD and TDD)
