We are working as a recruitment provider searching on our Client's behalf for a person in the following role:
Senior Software Engineer (QlikView/QlikSense)
Location: Kraków
Our team provides MI and automated document generation applications to business within Financial Crime Risk.
The user base is global covering differing needs of business customers from interactive management information, improving efficiency by creating and distributing documents automatically, and providing technical and functional expertise on the use of the platform.
The purpose of the role is to provide analysis and development capabilities to the existing team. The application platform covers all the Qlik applications including QlikView, QlikSense,
N-Printing, and GeoAnalytics.
The purpose of this role is to support existing Qlik-based applications, develop new applications as directed by the business users, and improve the quality controls and efficiency/automation across a delivery. There are a number of dashboards in the portfolio therefore the developer needs to be able to multitask and self-manage their workload to a degree.
Key Accountabilities:
Reviewing the business requirements that have been submitted via JIRAs
Ensuring that is business requirements are unclear then they are clarified with the appropriate stakeholders
Designing and implementing the changes
Following the team's delivery methodology (unit testing, documentation, integration testing, package / deploy, release processes)
Supporting UAT processes
Providing support during release
Providing production support (third line)
Designing / implementing QlikView, QlikSense, and N-Printing changes (possibly with Qlik GeoAnalytics)
Documentation
Testing the Qlik solution
Supporting release management in deployments
Third line support
Delivery improvement activities
Taking ownership of the dashboards and being responsible for the quality of the deliverable
Requirements:
Either Prior experience of QlikView and N-Printing, or QlikView and QlikSense, or QlikSense and N-Printing
Min 2-years experience in QlikView v11+
Min 1-years experience in Qlik N-Printing 16+
Min 1-years experience in QlikSense 16+
From a structured IT delivery methodology background
Documentation skills (every developer has to create documentation covering design and testing)
Mature positive attitude to interact positively with senior stakeholders
Able to work alone but escalates when needed
Keeping the project manager informed of issues and resolutions
Good presentation / communication skills
Pro-active and takes ownership, and responsible for the outcomes
Qlik GeoAnalytics
Data Modelling
Some experience in other BI tools also useful if not all Qlik applications are covered: Tableu, Spotfire, SAS VA, etc.
Needs to have some technical skills
Needs to have good interpersonal skills
Structured and analytical approach
Good knowledge of the relevant technologies and an ability to challenge and be challenged on these subjects
Lateral thinker, capable to work to a goal with no / little supervision. Persistent in the face of adversity
Collaborative with all stakeholders including senior, peers and direct reports
