HRO Personnel is a Human Resources service provider operating under number 6696. We are working as a recruitment provider searching on our Client's behalf for a person in the following role:


Senior Software Engineer (.NET Java)



The purpose of the job is writing software/automated tests, discussing specifications with the business in Agile environment and providing 3rd line of support when necessary.

The team works in international environment supporting 17 countries in European time zone. Senior Software Engineer participates in the entire project life cycle starting from an inception till transition. Very strong emphasis on quality with TDD/ATDD and continuous integration/continuous deployment already put in place.


Key Accountabilities:

Analyze and propose solutions based on business requirements

Efficiently translate these requirements into working software

Demo the code to the business and incorporate feedback

Amend and produce specifications/documentation as required

Investigate live system faults, diagnose problems, propose and provide solutions

Complete projects in a timely manner



University or Technical College graduate (preferable in IT) followed by at least 3 years of programming experience

Good knowledge of or working experience with: ­

.NET, C# ­

Databases (MS SQL Server 2012 or higher) ­

Entity Framework, Unity ­

Web UI development and testing, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, TypeScript, Angular 4 or higher, Bootstrap 3 or higher, ­

Clean Code Principles, C# Design patterns. ­

TDD/ATDD, Continuous Integration, Continuous Deployment ­

Micro-services based architecture

Good understanding of English is essential

Business Intelligence reporting tools (MS BIDS) will be an advantage

Experience in Agile type methodologies will be an advantage

Prior working experience in a bank or a financial institution will be an advantage but not a must

Good interpersonal skills

Ability to work in changeable environment
