Senior R2R Analyst - Fixed Assets

Senior R2R Analyst - Fixed Assets Specliast
Requirements:
- 1-2 years of experience in RTR or Finance function in SSC/BPO environment, with in-depth knowledge of fixed assets processes in a multinational environment and preferably experience with US GAAP/IFRS technical accounting,
- University Degree in Business and/or Accounting (or equivalent work experience),
- Fluency in English language (min. B2/C1),
- Experience with SAP (min. 1-2 years),
- Previous experience in migration processes,
- Strong knowledge of Fixed Assets processes (min. 1-2 years);
- Proven analytical, problem solving, and communication skills,
- Ability to proactively & effectively analyse & resolve problems in the Fixed Assets area & devise appropriate testing strategies to support.
Responsibilities:
- Be seen as a "go-to" information resource for Fixed Asset related queries,
- Review all Capitalization Forms received to ensure they are in line with company policies and capitalized for the company closing calendar,
- Deliver training and support to Project Managers to ensure proper Capitalization Form submissions for assigned affiliates,
- Coordinate the physical inventory counts with the affiliate business partners,
- Ensure correct asset modifications in SAP (e.g. sales, retirements, master data change),
- Prepare / Review account reconciliations in accordance with reconciliation methodology,
- Review key Fixed Asset metrics & communicate to stakeholders to ensure key deliverables are being met while identifying and implementing initiatives to improve. This includes following up on late or inactive projects for assigned affiliates,
- Support global/regional Fixed Assets projects,
- Demonstrate excellence in all interactions with GBS internal customers & business partners,
- Focus on measuring & improving the internal customer's experience with the GBS,
- Build and maintain a strong knowledge of supported affiliate's business,
- Actively participate in the GA month-end close and reconciliation process, ensure adherence to the standard month/quarter/year-end timelines,
- Demonstrate a strong Continuous Improvement oriented approach & help to build a strong Continuous Improvement culture,
- Actively work with the core team members and internal IT groups to identify improvements for processes,
- Report end-to-end process metrics and KPIs to measure service levels, operational effectiveness, process health, and process compliance,
- Ensure prioritization and encourage a culture of compliance to SOX and other internal controls requirements,
- Ensure ownership for all applicable SOX & Operational controls related to Fixed Assets,
- Integrate controls into process documentation and training materials,
- Assists auditors (internal & external) by preparing requested data and providing explanation of supporting materials and procedures.
