Our client is an international organization currently looking for a Senior Financial Reporting Manager to grow and oversee the company’s operations in Cracow. It is an exciting position playing a key role in the development of the Global model structure.

Responsibilities:
- Contribute to the development of the financial reporting shared services department.
- Manage resources within the departments to provide a quality service and meet the applicable KPI requirements
- Take-on new business from other sites in a pro-active and controlled manner
- Ensure that procedures, policies and processes are adhered to so that a high quality service is delivered to other company sites.
- Propose and/or implement procedural changes to improve performance of the department.
- Handle and resolve complex/unusual operational and managerial problems.
- Successfully implement Financial Reporting performance targets and objectives, both operational and project-based so that the departments are seen as both customer and quality driven, whilst also being a contributor to the financial success of company
- Observe, inspect and evaluate performance of other staff in the department
- Develop new ways of making the department more efficient through use of IT systems
- Provide quality leadership and advice
- Make sound operational decisions
- Provide regular feedback to managers and more senior colleagues with regard to performance on Financial Reporting
Qualifications:
- 8 years of experience in managing minimum a 100 of people
- Strong accounting standards knowledge (IFRS or UK GAAP or US GAAP)
- Good working knowledge of know-your-customer procedures
- A sound understanding of the financial reporting requirements
- Ability to interpret and implement new accounting policies and corporate policies
- Have an enquiring mind and a willingness to investigate and solve problems
- Ability to multi-task and be comfortable with managing difficult situations as they arise
