Senior Java Developer

Basic information:
Location: 1 day in the office/week from Warsaw
Rate: 120-170PLN/h net + VAT
Type of work: B2B contract
Length: long-term project (min. one year + extensions)
Recruitment process: 1 stage
English: B1 (English language skills are nice to have) - knowledge of Polish language required
Luxmed, MultiSport, equipment provided by the client
Scope of work:
1. implement the work within the agile team2. participation in planning future releases and iterations as part of the agile team39s work3. participation/leadership in the review and retrospective of the team within iterations and releases4. design of solutions implemented within the agile team5. implementation of solutions accepted for implementation by the team7. support the implementation of the solution into production6. stabilization and maintenance of implemented solutions as part of 3rd line support work
Profile:
1. education:- higher education with IT profile will be welcome2. Work experience:- min. 8 years of experience as a Java/JEE developer/.- experience as a GOSU programmer - optional, but there must be a willingness to learn this language3. Key competencies of the position:- good knowledge of Java language and JEE technology,- Experience in executing solutions based on requirements,- Knowledge of relational databases and SQL with particular emphasis on Oracle database- Knowledge of XML and related technologies,- knowledge of design and architectural patterns,- knowledge of Tomcat, Jetty application servers- knowledge of tools for automating the process of building software MAVEN2, Ant- ability to organize own work and cooperate in a team4. Additional skills/dispositions:- independence, communication skills, openness- certification in one of the Guidewire Suite products (PolicyCenter, BillingCenter, ClaimCenter)
