About the RoleWe are looking for a Senior Java Developer to join our team and take a leading role in designing and developing complex, scalable software solutions. This is a key position where you’ll influence our technology roadmap, mentor junior developers, and ensure our products align with business goals.

Key Responsibilities

• Focus on business expectations and design software accordingly
• Work in an agile environment
• Design and develop integration components, REST APIs, and web application features
• Communicate with the rest of the team to stay aligned on business and technical knowledge
• Perform unit and system testing
• Conduct threat and risk assessments

Desired Skills

• Knowledge of craftsmanship principles (Clean Code, Clean Coder, Clean Architecture)
• Experience with craftsmanship practices (Pair programming, Mob programming, Peer testing, Code reviews)
• Familiarity with methodologies like DDD, BDD, TDD
• Experience with Rancher, Jenkins
• Event streaming with Apache Kafka
• Knowledge of IntelliJ IDEA
• Experience with Atlassian suite (Jira, Bitbucket, Confluence)

Experience

• 7+ years of experience with Java technologies
• Previous work experience with the Spring framework
• Experience with SOA and microservices, REST services development
• Experience with cloud-native applications
• Experience in supporting and/or implementing complex integration projects
• Extensive knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases
• Experience with unit testing and mocking frameworks
• Familiarity with continuous integration and deployment
