Senior GL Accountant - financial reporting analyst (new SSC)
This is a unique opportunity for you to join a prestigious Center of Excellence supporting its European entities and contribute significantly to the development of its newly created team acting as a Senior General Ledger Accountant / Financial Reporting Analyst - responsible for all month end closing, financial reporting with exposure to analytical activities.

Description
- Be actively involved in the set-up, continuous development and management of a new regional structure
- Perform end-to-end general ledger activities in line with corporate policies and in respect of local statutory requirements of the European entity/ies assigned
- Perform month-end financial reporting and analytical assignments
- Understand the balance sheet & income statement impacts of every transaction to challenge or propose material accounting judgmental entries when relevant
- Responsible for adjustments and resolves problems within company guidelines and given policy
- Review and prepare Balance Sheet reconciliation / financial statements
- Coordinate with the outside consultants for the Statutory Accounts and tax returns as well as any other local government requirements
- Possibility to actively participate in general ledger knowledge transfer from European entities (remotely)
- Review and analysis the accounting process in order to identify and recommend process improvements
- Preparing reports / analytical review for Finance Manager and Financial Controllers
Profile
- Higher University degree (preferably in Finance&Accounting, Economics or equivalent finance specific degree)
- Strong knowledge of finance and accounting principles and processes
- Min. 3-5 years of experience in GL/RTR accounting, financial reporting (preferably with exposure to analytical tasks)
- Excellent oral and written communication skills in English any other European language a plus
- SAP ERP knowledge, HFM is a plus
- Demonstrate sound work ethics, respect and cultural sensitivity and awareness
- Ability to take ownership, think independently and perform tasks with minimal supervision
- Ability to be work independently and in the team
- Strong analytical skills
