(Senior) Financial Manager

For our client, company from financial institution with a strong global presence, we are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced individual for the position of Senior Manager - Regulatory Reporting.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee the regulatory reporting function, ensuring compliance with all applicable regulations and guidelines.
- Manage a team responsible for the preparation and submission of accurate and timely regulatory reports.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with regulatory authorities and ensure effective communication.
- Monitor regulatory developments and changes, and implement necessary adjustments to reporting processes and procedures.
- Conduct periodic reviews and assessments of reporting systems and controls to ensure their effectiveness.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, such as Risk Management and Compliance, to ensure a comprehensive and integrated approach to regulatory reporting.
- Stay updated on industry best practices and regulatory requirements to proactively address any emerging issues.
Requirements:
- Bachelor39s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field. Advanced degree and/or relevant certifications (e.g., ACCA) preferred.
- Extensive experience in regulatory reporting within the financial services industry, with a focus on banking regulations.
- English skills at advanced level (min. B2/C1)
- Strong knowledge of relevant regulatory frameworks.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex regulatory requirements and translate them into practical solutions.
- Proven track record of successfully managing a team and driving results in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy, with the ability to review and validate complex financial data.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively liaise with internal stakeholders and regulatory authorities.
- Proficiency in relevant regulatory reporting tools and systems.
