The Sr. Manager ensures compliance with local regulatory requirements, US GAAP reporting requirements, and company`s policy. Also this role include being the primary point of contact with internal audit and external auditors for all operational, financial audit or internal controls testing.

Primary Duties/Responsibilities:
Accounting Operations
- Oversight of accounts payable and travel & expense processes
- Oversight of review/approval of all required journal entries
- Oversee the maintenance of local P&Ls and ensure timely reporting to Global Finance department according to monthly close timelines
- Analyze significant budget-to-actual variances and provide explanations monthly to global Finance department
- Prepare annual budgets and long-range forecasts and prepare and/or assist with the preparation of financial models to support new projects
- Oversees the preparation and filing of corporate income and indirect (VAT) tax returns as well as maintenance of the standard audit files for tax purposes
- Maintains transfer pricing documentation and other statutory reporting requirements
- Prepare and maintain data required to support any local tax incentives and annual tax reporting package
- Oversees the preparation of monthly financial statements and interoffice billings in compliance with US GAAP and company`s policy
- Ensures time spent on IT development projects is tracked appropriately and is capitalised in compliance with US GAAP rules (i.e., must understand CapEx vs. Opex rules)
- Assists with the design of the internal control environment
- Responsible for maintaining process and control documentation (narratives and/or flow charts).
- Ensures all key daily, monthly and quarterly internal controls are documented and executed timely and in accordance with company`s policy
- Must oversee and/or execute the performance of monthly account reconciliations, monthly budget to actual analysis, daily time tracking for IT projects, and access and program change management controls over key IT systems, among other things
- Acts as the primary point of contact with all auditors
- Facilitates providing complete and accurate documentation to support all amounts recognized in the ledger, including costs capitalised on the balance sheet
- Facilitates the testing of the internal control environment, including researching findings and remediating exceptions or deficiencies (if any)
- University degree in Accounting
- 7-10 years general accounting experience
- Excellent English language communication skills, both written and verbal
- Strong analytical skills and problem-solving abilities
- Proficiency in leading teams and maintaining routine reporting efforts
- Must have a strong work ethic and be a self-starter
- Big 4 experience a plus
- CPA or equivalent a plus
- Experience with internal controls within a US registered company environment a plus
