For our Client - international company from Energy industry based in Cracow, we are looking for Senior Electrical Engineer.
Key responsibilities:
- Taking part in creating of electrical specification and sizing of subsea components hosted in ETHPiPor ETH-SP, including MV components such as cables, splices and connectors (incl. wet-mateones), feedthrough and hoses
- Defining or customizing electrical component testing procedures
- Following up suppliers (connectors and feedthroughs, cables, testing hoses) throughout the design, manufacturing and FAT process and supervising qualification testing campaigns with contractor or test labs
- Contributing to the mechanical integration of electrical components in subsea assets and structures
- Supporting R&D tasks related to All Electric and MV subsea networks in combination with active heating solutions, support to flexible pipe active heating developments
- Consolidating component and system level design guidelines, qualification and industrialization dossiers, related method statements in close relation with other development and project support teams.
Expectations:
- Ability to travel ( 1 week per 2 months)
- Master's Degree or PhD in Electrical Engineering or related field
- Very good English skills
- Strong Mathematical/Statistical/Physics fundamentals
- Minimum 4 years of relevant professional experience, preferably in HVDC Converters or
Medium Voltage Power Systems design - Knowledge of : insulation materials, water barrier,tightness solutions & polymers for special applications (PEEK, KFM, FPA, silicone, ceramic, etc.),main failure mechanisms, degradation by ageing (electrical, thermal), electrical stress control
- High level of autonomy in task execution
- Experience in communicating with clients, business teams and management to collect
requirements, describe product features and refine technical designs
