For our client, a company that provides SaaS products related to sales, customer support, and other customer communications, we are looking for a Senior Data Analyst. 

Your new role 

What you’ll do:
• Structure and query data to perform analyses and build visualisations that provide insights into our organisational structure, resource deployment, portfolio of work and investment strategies, identifying opportunities for optimisation.
• Contribute to the team39s overall goal of enabling scalability and driving growth while minimising operational friction.
• Promote a data-driven culture by leveraging analytics to inform decisions and measure success within Product Development.
• Develop data solutions that facilitate self-service analytics, ensuring key data is accessible to decision-makers.
• Integrate structured and unstructured data into cohesive, actionable datasets to enhance analysis capabilities.
• Facilitate standardised performance measurement and reporting within Product Development
• Build strong relationships and collaborate with engineering, product and design teams to understand what data is available to tap into
• Proactively conduct analyses that reveal insights into critical business matters, focusing on resource allocation and portfolio management.
• Communicate insights and actionable recommendations to stakeholders using a blend of quantitative analysis and qualitative storytelling.

What you39ll need to succeed 

Basic Qualifications:
o 5+ years of experience in the analytics space
o Proven proficiency in Google Sheets, dbt and SQL
o Experience with data visualisation/BI tools (e.g, Snowflake, Looker, Lightdash, etc.)
o Self-motivated, analytical thinker with a curious mindset, eager to uncover insights and demonstrate the value of data-driven decision-making.
o Strong ability to work cross-functionally and effectively communicate with both technical and non-technical teams.
o Detail-oriented with a passion for analytics and problem-solving.

Preferred Qualifications:
o Experience with Snowflake and familiarity with data warehousing concepts.
o Background in working with unstructured data and its integration into structured frameworks.
o Experience with Jira and familiarity with productivity metrics to assess team performance.
o Understanding of census data and organisational structures, with the ability to analyse and model them effectively.
o Familiarity or interest in modelling and forecasting data using Python, R, or similar tools is a plus.
