Your new role
On this position you will be mainly responsible for credit risk assessment, minimizing bad debt of the assigned portfolio and coordination with the collection team for the recovery of the asset. You will manage and support a team of Area Credit Managers in various countries around the invoice cash work stream. Your duties will also include driving the implementation, establishment and approval of credit limits; coordination of the collections and recovery of the trade receivables; oversee and support credit activities: risk assessment, key account collections, dispute management, lean, process improvements, legal and bankruptcy actions; develop risk mitigation tools to protect the trade receivable portfolio; perform bad debt analysis; participate in and drive process improvements and lean initiatives; provide reports, metrics and KPI to assess the results and trends of the portfolio, markets and customers and benchmark; stay current on macro-economic issues, customer and market trends related to credit management.
What you'll need to succeed
Your proven min. 7-10 years of professional experience in credit and trade finance with industrial and multinational environment will be essential. You need to be fluent in English and demonstrate very good skills in using MS Office tools (Excel, Power Point, Word, Access). You need to have strong financial acumen and knowledge of bankruptcy laws, country rules and commercial code, etc. Strong interpersonal skills, good problem solving skills, attention to details and hands-on mentality will lead to your success We will be more than happy to see that you are well organized, independent and motivated person who is not afraid of new professional challenges.
