Senior Cloud Engineer
Location: WarsawThe team is going to develop selfservice solutions to a range of applicationstype (Java, Javascript, …) so applications team can run and monitor their applications in the cloud.
The team is responsible for the ‘aPaaS’ in the Cloud. The team develop, maintains and architect all solutions for the aPaaS, from provisioning, security on platform, surveillance, deployment etc. The team is going to build upon the Cloud platform delivered by the Cloud Platform team.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Evaluating new services and upgrades, hardening images, evaluate and install patches and resolves software related problems.
Executing Production deployments during non-business hours in a high availability environment
Define the system autoscaling group/ policies and access group/ policies
Define system backups and recovery plan.
Maintain data files and monitor system configuration to ensure data integrity.
Understand system architecture of upstream and downstream impacts when implementing solution
Troubleshoot access and/or performance issues, read log files
Ensure a safe and secure infrastructure
Create and maintain infrastructure / configuration documentation
SKILLS
MUST
Fluent English both written and verbal
Full Masters or Bachelor degree
10 years of practical experience in IT
Practical implementation expertise with Azure Cloud ecosystem, preferably supported with certificates
Experience with OpenShift
Experience with Docker, Kubernetes and AKS
Experience with Cloud Active Directory
Experience with RHEL and MS Server
Experience with Terraform and Ansible
Experience with BitBucket and Jenkins
Throughly understanding and work experience with Enterprise solution with high volume of transactions and complex system setup
Good knowledge of Cloud several ways of hosting applications in designing the solutions
Excellent knowledge of designing and creating PaaS solutions
Good Knowledge of designing High availability solutions.
