Main accountabilities
- Responsible for handling various commodities across Procurement such as Tech products , Connectivity, IT Products, Facilities & Travel
- Perform end to end sourcing activities starting from identifying a supplier for a particular requirement, Performing RFP – Techno Commercial and commercial bid. Dealing with existing vendors and analyzing new vendors for better Quality and cost, collaborating with suppliers, right till the contract stage until PO release and resolving any supplier invoicing issues
- Interact with stakeholders to understand requirements and ensure purchase requisitions are placed with consideration of optimal price, delivery time and quality, while complying with all Procurement guidelines and standards
- Create and submit Purchase Orders, Service Orders as needed to ensure timely delivery
- Ensure sourcing activities are compliant to the procurement and QA/Inventory Standards to ensure all materials sourced are safe and fit for purpose
- Run periodic expediting reports and follow up with suppliers to ensure on time delivery
- Conduct Weekly meetings with offshore/onshore teams to identify and track status of Business critical and Safety critical materials
- Support clients and suppliers to resolve payment issues
- Manage Vendor registration and Approval
- Address team operational challenges and provide solution or channelize to appropriate functions as necessary
- Be the point of contact for resolving queries related to SAP Procurement processes
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a Buyer within Operational Procurement
- Good command of English
- Working experience with SAP, Ariba and e-procurement tools
- Experience in BPO environment will be an asset
- University or college degree, technical background or experience within Oil & Gas industry will be an asset
