Senior Buyer Energy - EAME

We are looking for a Senior Buyer experienced in procurement in energy, utilities and industrial gases within EAME. The person in the role will develop and execute the new purchasing strategy in order to maximise plant efficiency.

Our client is a global manufacturer and marketer of diversified and specialty chemical products. The company is currently establishing a new Business Centre in Kraków, where it is locating new competences.

Description

• Development on CO2 strategy
• Manages negotiations with key stakeholders
• Responsibility for contract developments and commercial negotiations
• Ensuring negotiations of best prices, cost reduction, and productivity improvements
• Negotiations and concluding contracts
• Execute strategic sourcing
• Managing budget for regional/global agreements
• Responsibility for: purchasing strategy, supplier segmentation, internal stakeholder satisfaction improvement, supplier performance evaluation, monitor complaints
• Optimisation processes
• Ongoing annual savings delivery
• Occasional travels (approx. once in three months)

Profile

• Proven experience in similar position (procurement or market analysis within energy)
• Fluent English (additional language, especially Dutch would be a strong asset)
• Experience in working with a diverse team
• High focus on data management and analysis
• Proven influential and negotiating skills
• SAP / ERP software process knowledge - nice to have
• Higher education
