Your responsibilities
In this rewarding and challenging role, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality analysis and
reporting for our commercial organizations, innovation organizations and overhead functions within company.

Your main responsibilities are:

  • FP&A activities (forecasting, planning & analysis) for your respective organizations or functions
  • Ensure proper analytics for cost improvement projects, R&D projects or sales projects
  • Supporting the team with various complex analytics on actuals, forecast, budget process or strategic plans
  • Set achievable and well-founded targets, based on business insights on respective organization or cost of organization for the function
  • Driving harmonization and standardization projects, supporting our vision to drive business decisions by partnering with other teams to create insights and delivering forward looking analysis to management
  • Ensure ad-hoc requests for Market or Function management are dealt with adequately
  • Support internal and external audits
  • Manage and monitor the performance of Enterprise Information Management (EIM) who is creating the reporting
  • Manage all stakeholders (both internal as well as external)
  • Manage, own and optimize the process end-to-end
  • Continuously look for improvements and implement quick wins
  • Focus on innovation and automation
  • Create a plan how to set KPI"s, monitor them and improve the outcomes
  • Be the champion in problem solving, understanding root causes of issues, implementing countermeasures and embedding the new way of working
  • Be the expert in FP&A Commercial
  • Be the subject matter expert for one of the sub-processes in FP&A for Europe
  • Run process improvement projects

We are looking for:

The ideal candidate should have minimum a Master"s degree in Business Economics, Finance and/or Accounting and 7+ years of related experience. CIMA certified, on the way to get CIMA certified is a big advantage. Experience with continuous improvement methodologies (Lean) would be a preference. As a highly skilled Senior Business Analyst, you contribute to the development of concepts and techniques. You have a pro-active attitude with outstanding analytical and communicative capabilities. Network skills are of the outmost importance. Proficient level of English language is essential.

You are suitable for this role when you additionally have:

  • Experience with financial control, management reporting and accounting processes
  • Business experience is an advantage
  • Experience in working in a multinational and in a complex matrix organization
  • Experience in shared services
  • Strong analytical and conceptual thinking to help shape the future of the FP&A role
  • Intellectual capacity to digest complex information, see trends and analysis through data (facts)
  • Profound knowledge of business analytics
  • High energy, strong sense of urgency, self-motivated and result oriented in combination with a "can-do" mentality
  • Ability to manage priorities
  • Solid business and process insight and view on redesign opportunities
  • ERP knowledge, preferably SAP BCS/EFR
  • Advanced technical skills in Microsoft Excel
  • Excellent communication skills and pro-active attitude
  • Able to convince people
  • Able to build bridges between various stakeholders
  • Excellent problem-solving skills
  • Outstanding analytical skills
  • Determination to continuously improve and get the change embedded
