Senior AP/AR Accountant

We are looking for a person who will take the position of Senior AP/AR Accountant. He or she will be responsible for settling the AP and AR process after the transition.

Our Client is the European market leader in operations worldwide. They have a few manufacturing plants, where they produce returnable items for over 50 years.

Description

• Perform daily activities related to closing procedures, process flow, planning and services.
• Settling the AP and AR process after the transition.
• Posting daily bank statements.
• Preparing payment proposals, processing manual and urgent payments.
• Resolve problems in cooperation with other departments and contractors.
• Responsible for the Payment and Receivables Ledger.
• Perform other tasks as required by the AR department.

Profile

• Min. 3 years of experience in accountancy
• Knowledge of the English language (minimum B2 level)
• Experience in AR and AP area
• Educational background in finance/accounting/economy or related
• Accurate, solution-oriented, flexible and stress resistant
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
• Experience in change and transition management - is a plus
