Senior Accountant
Location: WarsawFor our client from SSC sector we are looking for Candidates for the position of Senior Accountant:
Responsibilities:
- Participate in various financial projects and provide analysis
- Execute the month-end, quarter-end and the year-end close activities especially in Fixed Assets/project management
- Calculations, preparation and posting of journal entries
- Reconciliation of balance sheets accounts
- Be a part of a local finance team and maintain regular communication with key stakeholders
- Support Finance Directors and Finance Controllers on daily basis in identifying, defining and implementing process improvements and processes standardization
- Support audit in relation to general accounting and ensure appropriate controls are in place
- Act as a cross-departmental point of contact for management, business analyst, local finance teams and business partners
- Participate in new US GAAP standards implementation
Requirements:
- University Degree in Business and/or Accounting (or equivalent work experience)
- 3-5 years experience in Accounting or Finance function in SSC/BPO environment
- Knowledge of general accounting processes
- Analytical, problem solving, and communication skills
- Ability to effectively prioritize and complete key tasks and deliverables while demonstrating full ownership & accountability
- Fluency in English, knowledge another languages will be an asset
