We are working as a recruitment provider searching on our Client's behalf for a person in the following role:
Scala Developer
Location: Kraków
You will join a new Krakow-based team of 6 – Finance Liquidity IT Team which, in close collaboration with Product Owner, will take the ownership over the development and support process of a key regulatory system. It’s used to manage the capital of the company.
The project it will provide them with single ‘1 stop shop’ dashboard for Front Office trading supervisors! The platform will facilitate ingestion of a broad range of Control data (from various global sources of data), will carry out Workflow on that data and will present it in a Portal / User Interface. It will be used in 50+ countries.
We are building a new Ingestion Framework, a new UI and integrating a Workflow utility.
Key Accountabilities:
Supporting and implementation of Agile methods
Promoting an Agile mindset
Coaching the team including the Product Owner in agile values, principles and practices
Collaborating closely with stakeholders, coaching the teams, optimizing and improving the process
Motivating team members, providing feedback and coaching, integrating team members, resolving conflicts, improving teamwork, maintaining good team spirit
Requirements:
Deep knowledge of Scrum principles, practices and theory
Agile Mindset
Ability to build and maintain relationship with technical people and business stakeholders
Knowledge of Continuous Integration, Test Driven Development and other XP practices
Excellent skills in Agile tooling i.e. Jira/Confluence or similar
Fluent English
