Regulatory Specialist with English (chemicals)
Miejsce pracy: ŁódźFor one of our Clients, one of international leaders in the chemical industry based in Łódź, we are looking for a Regulatory Specialist. You would work with key regulations, such as REACH, CLP and others.
Your tasks will include:
- Collecting, analysing, compiling and preparing data and documents to support Product Stewardship and Regulatory Affairs Team and ensure compliance of Flint products globally
- Support products development, enforcing current, relevant regulations and preparing organisation for the upcoming regulations
- Strategically achieve and maintain a balance between regulatory concerns, marketing objectives, time to market, technology, compliance and costs
- Manage projects for upcoming and new regulations in the region of EMEA & APAC
- Evaluate the compliance of our products regarding relevant legislation and being able to support team in compliance checks of new suppliers, new raw materials and movement of goods
- Focusing on chemical control laws (especially REACH-like regulations, including, but not limited to EU REACH, UK REACH, KKDIK, other and CLP-like regulations) and other various substances of concern and legislations
- Managing internal (i.e. Procurement) and external stakeholders (i.e. Only Representatives)
- Data maintenance and analysis (including but not limited to SAP)
- Active participation in Global/ Regional Regulatory meetings and related projects
- Sharing daily business manager responsibilities with the team
Requirements:
- BSc in Chemistry / Environmental Sciences or a related Life Science degree
- Fluent English (C1), used 95% of time
- Work related experience- knowledge around EMEA Regulations concerning industrial chemicals
- Knowledge & experience in the poison center notifications, Safe Use of Mixtures, exposure scenarios would be an advantage
- Representing Flint Group at national associations, consultations and in front of customers
- Readiness to travel primarily within the EU up to 10% of time
- Strong communication skills, project management skills
