ALTEN innovates aero and cosmonautics, trains, electric and autonomous vehicles, and even space rockets. We are currently looking for Validation Engineer who will join our team.
Main tasks:
- You’ll ensure boundary conditions from industrial and component platforms are included in the project deliverables and manage risks through all design phases conforming to FMEA procedures;
- You’ll translate the customer requirements into CTQ’s (Critical-to-quality parameters), manage the flow down and validate the CTQ’s by building evidence through test plans and tools;
- You’ll ensure the quality and reliability of new products during the design stage according to the needs of the customer
- using the DFSS (Design for Six Sigma) methodology;
- You’ll ensure timely involvement of suppliers to secure quality of component CTQ’s;
- You’ll prevent incidents by ensuring robust
- design;
- You’ll close feedback loops from customer complaints by embedding the learnings into new design rules.
Key Skills and Experience
- You’ve a Bachelor or a Master degree in engineering or a technical field (Quality, Mechanical, Electrical)
- You’ve a demonstrated experience in Quality assurance methods and tools (e.g., DFSS, FMEA)
- You’ve a demonstrated hands-on experience in product development with knowledge of relevant technologies and application domains of the product category concerned
- You’ve project management skills
- You’ve DFSS green belt or black belt certification (would be an asset)
