For our Client we are currently looking for qualified Candidates for the position of:
QA Engineer
Location: Kraków
Job type: contract B2B
Length: long term cooperation
Rate: 55 - 75 PLN net/h
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree,
• Good oral and written communication skills in English
• minimum 4 years of professional experience
• understanding of QA methodologies and best practices
• Knowledge of Agile methodologies and project management systems (e.g. Rally)
• Extensive experience in test automation (Java, Selenium)
• Experience testing web services (SOAP/REST)
• Experience working with virtual machines (VMs) as part of a test/integration infrastructure
Responsibilities:
• Owns medium-sized quality engineering tasks; delivers while mentoring and helping team members
• Makes technology choices at individual level and has ability to analyze impact
• Defines, develops, and executes test plans and test cases
• Breaks down problems and estimates time for quality related tasks
• Reports, verifies, and prioritizes defects and test results
• Analyzes requirements and prepares testing data
• Deals with issues from production environments – testing fixed issues and providing test reports to the customer
• Applies principles of SDLC and methodologies like Lean/Agile/XP, CI, Software and Product Security, Scalability, Documentation Practices, refactoring, and Testing Techniques
• Integrates project testing with continuous-integration process
• Provides expertise in the quality engineering, test planning and testing methodology for a software project
• Develops and executes maintainable automation tests for acceptance, functional, and regression test cases
