Your new role
The Programme Manager – IT Strategy, Platforms and Enablement, reporting into the Head of IT Service Integration, PMO and Portfolio Management, will be responsible for:
- Working closely with the global IT leadership team, to provide overall management of pan tower programmes and projects to deliver company global IT's vision for success, principles, objectives
- Direct delivery of pan tower projects as defined and agreed with the IT Leadership team
- Programme performance and controls - identifying success criteria, setting project controls and being accountable for the overall integrity and coherence of programme and governance framework to support each project. Planning, monitoring and controlling progress, engaging fully with assurance teams and responding to recommendations.
- Risks and Issues - being accountable for risk and issue management. Ensuring mitigations are in place and resolved through negotiated agreement and that Senior Stakeholders are engaged appropriately.
- Dependency management - Work with project leads and stakeholders to ensure dependencies are identified and actively managed. Act as an arbiter and enforcer and resolve issues between the various elements of the programme

Essential:
- Knowledge of change management techniques and methods
- At least 5 years’ experience of IT programme management/transition management, ideally gained in strategic complex projects for large organisations
- Outstanding financial management, budgeting, and investment appraisal skills
- Experience of developing and delivering IT Roadmaps and programme plans to meet business needs
- Experience of operating within a global organisation with a proven ability to deliver against Group wide initiatives
- A strong service and business partnering mind-set
- Ability to translate high level unstructured ideas and requests quickly into a structure and level of detail that can be easily impacted against existing solution capabilities and developed into detailed project plans
