We are working as a recruitment provider searching on our Client's behalf for a person in the following role:
Production Support Engineer
The job holder has technical, domain level and specialist skills to ensure that all the engineering services are operated, maintained and constantly upgraded as technology advances. There can be multiple functions within the job involving multiple products and technologies. Including but not limited to programming, support to maintain essential environmental conditions & analysis – creating functional/technical design solutions.
The job holder may specialize in a single or combination of those functions/technologies. They will be involved in overseeing the deployment, planning, configuration & testing. Software Engineer will be primarily responsible for the development, configuration and support for one of key websites based on Sitecore CMS.
Responsible for implementing strategic technical architecture plans and adhere to standards and guidelines for technology application
Responsible for providing technical solutions to business problems and for providing technical support
Responsible for planning, documentation and development of new business requirements
Initiate analysis for problems and issues and determine technical alternatives
Work with business stakeholders to agree development user stories up front, building and maintaining a good working relationship with business stakeholders and other partners (internal and external)
Adhere to company global standards for continuous integration and continuous development, and to ensure this methodology is adopted
Great knowledge of .Net/C# technologies with proven experience of at least 3 years
Experience in TDD, CI and CD will be great; in VSTS and Azure is preferred
Knowledge of Gulp, Grunt and React technologies is a plus
Experience with Sitecore CMS will be a great advantage
Experience in enterprise security is a plus
Strong analytical skills, ability to promptly investigate and fix bugs
Flexibility to meet given timelines and to support urgent requirements
Continuous attention to technical excellence and good design principles
Experience working in a DevOps focused environment and in an Agile team
To be a team player but also able to work independently
Experience of working in a multinational environment for a global company
Excellent English communication skills, written and verbal
